January 15, 2008. The Blue Man we have been hearing about! By: Linda A. "The major media from Fox to CNN to ABC are again running what amounts to a propaganda blitzkrieg against colloidal silver with stories about a man, Paul Karason of Madera California, who developed a cosmetic condition called Argyria, from using large quantities of homemade colloidal silver. As usual, they have to dredge up "old news"; as with this case from fourteen years ago. Seldom do they ever give any substantial background to such stories, leaving in the minds of their viewers and listeners images of people turning blue from using almost any amount or any kind of colloidal silver." January 25, 2006. Colloidal Silver: A Natural Antibiotic? By: Gina Lindhardt. "What is colloidal silver? Is it good for you? Can it be the wide-spectrum germ fighter that it is claimed to be? All these questions I had to ask myself when considering this subject because I haven’t always been a fan of it. It just doesn’t seem natural to me to consume metal. March 15, 2005. Samsung releases anti-virus phone. By Tony Dennis: Kills germs not code. The handset uses a paint with colloidal silver (ie sub-microscopic) properties. In essence it attacks the enzymes of any single celled organism. Which means bacteria, fungi and viruses.
Samsung claims that ordinary phones allow microbes to multipy - some as many as 46 times in a day. The specially coated SCH-869 kills 99.9 per cent of them. The company claims the paint is not only safe for humans, it is also safe for the environment."

Our Mightiest Germ Fighter by Jim Powell. Science Digest - March 1978. Thanks to eye-opening research, silver is emerging as a wonder of modern medicine. An antibiotic kills perhaps half-dozen different disease organisms, but silver kills some 650. Resistant strains fail to develop. Moreover, silver is virtually non-toxic. Says a pioneering silver researcher, Dr Harry Margraf of St Louis: "Silver is the best all around germ-fighter we have." Developed by Dr. Charles Fox of Columbia University, a silver compound known as silver sulfadiazine is used in 70 percent of burn centers in the U.S. It also stops the herpes virus responsible for cold sores and fever blisters. With silver sulfadiazine, Dr Fox scored what properly is acclaimed as a momentous breakthrough, for it was the first new silver compound to win FDA approval and become generally available. A pharmaceutical house, Marion Laboratories, is offering it as an ointment, under the brand name of Silvadene; other companies are making silver sulfadiazine available in several countries from Canada to India.
